Pterosaurs were the first vertebrates to conquer the air, evolving a unique “finger-wing” anatomy that allowed them to dominate the skies for 160 million years.
Fossil evidence shows that Homo habilis, living over 2 million years ago, used small sticks or similar objects to clean their teeth, leaving characteristic grooves.
Dinosaurs were probably not movie-raptor smart, yet 170 million years of evolution and a badly incomplete fossil record give us good reason to keep an open mind.
