Bad Act: Russia targets Robert Mueller with fake news

From about Mar through Apr 2017, Russia targeted Robert Mueller with fake news. Right on queue, once Mueller is appointed, Russia started attacking Robert Mueller. The big question is why? Obviously to protect Trump and/or Russian assets. If Trump, why? Seems pretty inside baseball.

Verified: This is not in dispute.
