Bad Act: Papadopoulos Meets with who he thought was Putin’s Niece

Papadopoulos started communications with Russian government officials. For several months, he sought to use his connections to setup a Trump Campaign-Russia meeting. This was 3 days after the Trump campaign told the Washington Post that Papadopoulos was 1 of 5 foreign campaign advisors. After this meeting, Papadopoulos emailed the campaign that he met with who he thought was Putin’s niece. See Papadopoulos Timeline.
