Flourish now and into the future.
Eudaimonia
Happiness
This word from ancient Greece represents human flourishing or the greatest good. It was their word for for a happy life. Embrace flourishing for all as the center of your ethics. To flourish is not merely to feel good. It is to live with coherence, resilience, contribution, and meaningful enjoyment. Your life is tied to others, so true flourishing cannot be selfish. The journey is better when more life is allowed to grow well.

“The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another.”
Moral Agency
When stress starts running your mind, take control. Notice the thought, decide whether it is useful, and choose what deserves your attention next. Deal with what you can act on. Let the rest pass. Your mind will wander, worry, and react, but you do not have to follow every thought where it wants to go.

What is the history of Confucianism?
Confucian History
Confucianism was never about abstract belief or the afterlife. It focused on how people should live together—through proper conduct, relationships, and virtue. Confucianism is about the roles, customs, and expectations that make up our current idea of what is normal. Its endurance comes from practicality: ideas designed to stabilize society tend to survive, even as they adapt. Much of enjoying life’s journey is relational. Value the stability of the relationships you have right now, tolerate what falls outside the norm.

Structured Empirical Realism
Directly engaged with reality, disciplined by structure.

Natural philosophy affirms that a mind-independent material world exists and that we encounter it directly through perception and action. Yet our explanations of that world are shaped by models, symbolic systems, and broader worldviews that organize experience into coherent structure. Reality constrains both our interpretations and our outcomes, even as our descriptions remain partial and revisable. Knowledge grows not by escaping mediation, but by refining our frameworks — aligning intent, model, and result ever more closely with the world itself.

Two TST Paths to the Way

TST Philosophy has two paths: Think well and live well. The Live Well path is a Five-Step Framework that starts with one goal: flourishing. To flourish, you live within the two layers or reality, guided by 3 hammers, 4 traps, and 5 tools.

The Think Well path starts with step five. The formal name of this 5-4-3 framework is “TST Framework.” This Critical Thinking path starts with the Five Thought Tools to establish clarity in a chaotic world. As you live, you reduce suffering and flourish by avoiding the Four Mind Traps. The Three Truth Hammers bring in group think and institutions. Useful anchors when confusion sets in.
