Refocus the Day

TAKE CONTROL

Better decisions come with self-discipline.

~ 90 seconds

Let the noise settle. Return to what matters.

Two TAKE CONTROL reminders.

1.
.
Impermanence is the truth that reality is always changing. Everything flows, shifts, transforms, emerges, and passes away.
Subject: Metaphysics.
Impermanence is one of life’s core truths. From Heraclitus’ flux to Eastern thought, it reminds us that nothing stays fixed forever. Bodies age, identities evolve, civilizations rise and fall, and ideas change. Wisdom begins when we stop clinging to permanence in a changing world. Take control of your life by letting go of the idea of permanence. Nothing now, will still be in the future.
2.
Quote.
.
Your thoughts color your inner life. By examining and reframing them in light of reality, you can change your mood, strengthen your character, and regain control.
Subject: Stoicism.
Your inner life is molded by your mindset. When we choose to perceive experiences positively or negatively, those thoughts eventually define and manifest in our character, profoundly influencing how we react and live. You cannot control every event, but you can shape the meaning you give it. Notice the thought darkening your inner life, test it against reality, and choose a steadier one.

Now go win the next few minutes.

Done!
