THINK WELL

Clear thinking leads to better understanding.

~ 90 seconds

Think slowly for a moment. Not every thought deserves belief.

Two THINK WELL reminders.

1.
.
What makes an idea true? Truth is successful alignment between our representations and a determinate, mind-independent reality.
Subject: TST Philosophy.
Truth is not negotiable. Our descriptions are. Truth happens when an idea aligns with how things actually are — not when it feels coherent, useful, or widely accepted. Coherence constrains thinking. Pragmatism tests survival. But correspondence anchors everything. We aim at the world; we do not create it.
2.
Quote.
.
Your confidence in an idea, whether scientific or spiritual, should rise with support, not desire.
Subject: Belief.
A clear thinker does not believe harder just because an idea feels meaningful, familiar, or comforting. Some mysteries deserve wonder, but belief should still be proportional to evidence, logic, testing, and trustworthy guidance. Think well by letting confidence grow only when support earns it.

Now move forward with clearer eyes.
