Viewpoint Prevention
Embrace viewpoint prevention, the type used in OVM, to help you live well with people who see the world differently. When you feel the need to correct someone, the trick is to pause and ask a question instead. You can hold your view without forcing agreement. Act from the position that you are not trying to change their view. Listen with charity, challenge with care, and let clarity grow through dialogue.

“If you are willing to lie to win a debate, you are debating without honor.”

Debate should serve truth.
Inspired by debates between Clinton and Trump.
Living well includes living with honor. A good debate is not just about making the strongest argument. It is also about how you conduct yourself while making it. Listen fairly, acknowledge what is true, and never knowingly distort or invent facts to win. You may lose a point and still keep something more important: your honor. Your goal is to seek truth and retain the friendship of your adversary.

What is the difference between secular and public spirituality?
Understanding Spirituality

Secular spirituality asks you to seek awe, purpose, compassion, and reverence without surrendering your judgment. Let meaning inspire you, while reality guides you.
